In addition to writing IEP goals and Present Levels of Performance, there are numerous legally binding pages that the case manager must fill out for each IEP. Learn what these pages mean, how to fill out a general IEP as this module guides you through the process.

KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - MINDSET
Knowledge:
- Special Educators have an understanding of each component of the IEP, terms specific to the IEP, and familiarity with the various forms of the IEP.
- Special educators are aware of their responsibility as a case manager
- Special Educators will able correctly fill out IEP forms and identify which forms are needed for various students’ IEPs
- Special Educators will be able to read and understand an IEP
- Special Education are case managers for their students and it’s imperative that IEP documents are filled out correctly, as they are legal documents that directly impact student services.
