Strategy Instruction is teaching students specific strategies for learning in content areas. This module gives guidance for implementing targeted strategy instruction in any classroom.

- Strategy instruction in 6 different areas (Reading Comprehension, Math, Writing, Spelling, Decoding, Study Skills)

- Strategy instruction involves teaching students how to apply learning strategies so they can approach tasks more strategically and is particularly effective for older students.

Mindset:
- The concept of “how to learn best” is not always intuitive to all students. Some students require specific instruction about how to best approach a task and how to learn information.
- Students with learning differences and those that have trouble with organization can benefit from strategy instruction.
